my sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends.
i hope he’s finally at peace. ♥️🕊
A video started circulating on Twitter of Tyabashe saying “Today is my last day in Joburg and what I’ve decided to do is pack…” He then says “I’ve decided to pack up and leave. I am leaving for… Mars. Goodbye.” A video of him in what seems to be a high building then follows.
I’ve watched this video ten times already… I don’t know him but to see that he made so much peace with leaving earth 😭💔… I hope you find all the peace you wanted in Mars nana ♥️♥️ #RestInPeaceNkocain 🕊 pic.twitter.com/AlgXFlHHiO

#RestInPeaceNkocain we need to stp thinking tht depression is the guy/girl wth the messy hair and the dirty clothes. Depression is all around, though it may nt always b chronic bt its there. So can we all just be nicer to each other. “i might be smiling, but dsnt mean im happy.” pic.twitter.com/pPFNIJ5mTb

Depression is a real illness. It is not a sign of a person’s weakness or a character flaw. You can’t “snap out of” it.

Sending light and love to all those going through a difficult time and struggling to find reasons to stay alive ❤️#RestInPeaceNkocain
It pains me when I still hear people saying “indoda ayikhali” while our brothers they suffer inside and wear a fake smile in public, pretending everything is okay while they’re not. Guys depression is real 😔💔. Let’s check up on our friends and help them. #RestInPeaceNkocain 🕊

We only talk about how real depression is after someone committed suicide 💔 #RestInPeaceNkocain https://t.co/9iccmeX58O

I just really really wish black people in particular would stop demonizing people for committing suicide or even thinking about it. It’s not weakness, it’s a cry for help. Suicide often comes when you’ve tried everything else. It is seldom the 1st solution. #RestInPeaceNkocain

Depression is real, some keep saying it’s sadness, labels, labels, it relapses, you need a support structure, my dad is a quiet and distant man but when I was depressed he would check on me frequently, say he’s thr 4 me,check on your friends, the happiest ones #RestInPeaceNkocain pic.twitter.com/3y8j0ALQYW
