The trend started when a video of a gentleman during the Pretoria CBD Protest surfaced; in the video, the man is asked by a reporter “What has been happening and what are you calling for?”
The man then moves to the side and asks:
Sister, le kae? (Sister, how are you?)
The reporter replies: Re teng, o kae? (I am good, how are you?)
The man replies: Ke teng. Ne o reng? ( I am fine. What were you saying?)
