Percy Tau has been recalled by the English Premier League side, Brighton & Hove Albion from his loan at Anderlecht.

The 26 year old South African spent the last two and half seasons on loan since joining Brighton from Mamelodi Sundowns in a club-record R50-million sale but was unable to be registered due to issues with paperwork.

However, the regulation changes following Brexit this year has seen Tau’s experience for club and country over the last 24 months taken into consideration to secure his long-awaited move to the South Coast of England.

“Albion have today recalled striker Percy Tau from his loan spell with Belgian club Anderlecht.

“Albion have received a Governing Body Endorsement, the new points-based system for non-English players which came into force last week when the transition period following the UK’s exit from the European Union ended, from the FA for Tau.” – said a post from Brighton’s facebook page.

Brighton has already posted pictures of Tau in training with them. See pictures below.
