Bafana Bafana beats Egypt and through to the Quarterfinals

Bafana Bafana has beaten the hosts, Egypt by 1 goal to 0.

This was a very tough game for Bafana as they were playing Egypt in their home ground. Egypt came to the top 16 unbeaten, while Bafana only won 1 game.

Absa Premiership Player of the season, Thembinkosi Lorch, who was playing his first game of the tournament, scored the only goal of the match in the 85th minute. Fans have been showing anger at the coach, Stuart Baxter for not playing Lorch in the group stages.

Bafana will face Nigeria in the quarterfinal next week Wednesday.
